Wizkid’s new album postponed because of EndSars protest.
Wizkid’s new album “MADE IN LAGOS” is postponed, due to the endsars protest nation wide.
The album which was set to be released today, 15th October was postponed when the artist was asked by a fan on tuesday.
This hint came via his Twitter account after a fan asked him, “#SarsMustGoNow ……but @wizkidayo MIL go still drop?” He then replied, “Not yet !! Mad times!!”
The “Mad times” Wizkid seems to be referring to is the #EndSARS protests that Nigeria is currently embroiled in. He was also a part of the protest in London, where fans said he calmed an increasingly unsettled crowd in front of the British council.
Born Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, Wizkid has grown into an international artist, touring across the world, winning multiple awards, performing at the most iconic venues and more.
Wizkid has been consistent in delivering good quality music as his three albums considered as concrete afrobeats classics: Superstar in 2011, Ayo in 2014 and Sounds From The Other Side in 2017.

Nigerian artist Wizkid has been teasing his new album. Of what we have come to know as Made In Lagos – for two years.
The promotion of the project began towards the end of 2019, when the tar released “Ghetto Love” and “Joro”.
The album, that he described in his stories as “the best he’s ever made”.
However, the star dropped his single “No Stress” on September the 17th.
The artist revealed a new album release date is not ascertain yet but hopefully, it’ll still drop this October.
Feature artiste on the new album?
Wizkid has reportedly collaborated with several artists on his new project.
The artist has pulled in singers HER and Ella Mai, Jamaican artists Projexx and Damian Marley and fellow Nigerian artists Tems, Starboy Terri, Skepta and Burna Boy.
There will be several producers working on the collaborators of the singer such as Blaqjerzee, Sarz and Mut4y, among others.
A cover for the album is also said to have been shot months ago.
