No NIN No Drivers License
Candidates should introduce their NIN before they can be caught for any class of the licenses created by the FRSC
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) says a candidate for driver’s permit will currently be needed to introduce their National Identification Number (NIN).
The NIN is given by the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) upon enrolment into the National Identity Database and is utilized to catch a person’s records.
The Federal Government has been pushing hard for the reconciliation of NIN in various offices, with security utilized as a significant explanation.

The FRSC said in an articulation on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 it will currently conform to the public authority’s order for harmonization of residents’ information, beginning from December 21.
All candidates, with no exemption, should introduce their NIN before they can be caught for any class of the licenses delivered by the FRSC.
The organization’s representative, Bisi Kazeem, encouraged candidates to deliberately follow the techniques for acquiring their NIN from the NIMC before they approach the FRSC.
He said the NIN should be confirmed to be valid before move can be made on applications for the licenses.
Kazeem noticed that an orchestrated data set on residents’ data is basic to settling the difficulties of recognizing people to help security organizations in information grouping, and address a portion of the public security challenges.
