Three men of the Benin Republic have been arrested by the Nigerian Police force for stealing petrol worth N1.2 million in Lagos.

The Commandant of Lagos State Command of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSDC), Mr Paul Ayeni said that the suspect was recently arrested by the Nigerian Navy Psatrol team and then handed over to the NSDC on the 5 of December 2020 at the frontier between Nigerian Maritime Boundary and the Republic of Benin.

The three suspect whose names are Bidem Kakon (32 year), Gbeza (24 year), and Haunsa crepin (25 year) were arrestes in a wooden boat where they covered 6,250 litres of PMS.

The suspect will soon be taken to court to face the wrath of law due to the economic sabotage they caused the nation.
