Endsars: Ghana President’s address on the crisis.

A Fellow african president went on to express himself concerning the ongoing #Endsars protest.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo of the Great Republic of Ghana has finally lend his voice to the End Sars movement in Nigeria.

He did this after much pressure from the masses including some Nigerians who are currently seeking the voices of other nations to come to their aids.

So many celebrities like Nana Aba,Yvonne Nelson and Lydia Forson called on President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to lend his voice to Nigerians .

But it’s good news president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has finally lend his voice,

On October 21st, the President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo, finally spoke on the current situation in Nigeria

Akufo-Addo disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday evening,

 That was a day after peaceful protesters are were allegedly shot at by the Nigerian military at the Lekki toll gate holdout.

Since soldiers opened fired on peaceful #ENDSARS protesters in Lekki, Lagos on Tuesday, October 20, 2020, killing some of them,

However,

24 hours after the president’s failure to address Nigerians on the step he is taking to douse tension in the country,

Ghana President in a condolence message assured Nigerians that their president is ready to resolve the crisis.

He added that the use of violence by security agents is not a solution , expresses his condolences

“Violence, be it on the part of the Police or protesters, cannot be the solution.

To the families who have lost their loved ones,

I express my sincere condolences, and I wish the injured a speedy recovery”.

However, The peaceful #ENDSARS protests took a tragic twist on Tuesday night after a team of soldiers attacked protesters in Lekki and Alausa protest grounds.

Ghanaian President Nana Akufo-Addo,

has asked the Federal Government of Nigeria to solve the #EndSARS crisis through dialogue.

According to Amnesty International, 12 protesters were killed by the security forces.

Akufo-Addo joins other global leaders like former US Presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton

who has called on President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration and the Nigerian Army to stop the killing of young protesters in the country

Moreover, Nigerians all over the world has joined to raise their voice against police brutality and bad governance.
