Boxing champion died while crossing with a headphone.

A young boxing champion has died. She was knockdown by a moving train when she was crossing the railway.

She was wearing a headphone and browsing with her smartphone while crossing the railway line.

According to reports, Amina Bulakh who is 18 years of age did not see the fast-approaching passenger service train until the moment she was fatally struck in Ukraine’s hometown.

Amina had gone out to the pharmacy in her home village of Tarasivka in Kyiv region when the incident took place.

She was knockdown by the service train, traveling from Kyiv to Fastov, as she walked over the railway track.

It could be said that the young boxing champion died of carelessness because she was wearing a headphone while crossing the railway.

Additionally, an eye witness said that Amina Bulakh was browsing her mobile while she walked slowly seemingly

unaware of the danger until the last moment.

Ukraine police have launched a criminal investigation into her death.

The Ukrainian Boxing Federation has in a statement said the following about the accident:

Tragic circumstances have taken the life of Ukraine youth female team member Amina Bulakh,” said the Boxing Federation of Ukraine.

The Ukrainian Boxes Federation has also put a notice out on their Facebook, saying:

To the eternal memory of you Amina Bulakh.

The 18-year-old boxing champion was an amateur who won a bronze medal in the European Championship in

youth boxing which held in Bulgaria.
